It is made from tough 7075-T6 aluminium and uses an OEM-style forged shaft. The shaft has a smooth finish, which reduces the wear that ridged designs often suffer from.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe flexible tip is CNC machined from billet aluminium. It is spring-loaded and can rotate, so it can spin when it takes a knock, for example in a rut, which helps limit damage. Steel teeth improve grip when conditions are muddy, while a built-in stop limits rotation to 90 degrees to guard the pedal against further damage.
