Chase Sexton rode it to the 2023 450 Supercross title. Jett Lawrence also used it to claim the 2023 450 Motocross SMX title as part of a perfect season.

This latest RS-12 system in stainless steel is built for the Honda CRF450R/RX. With the newest engine spec, Yoshimura's engineers wanted to extract the most usable power they could, so they created a completely new system rather than carrying the old one over. At its heart is a one-piece cast stainless steel manifold with an integrated bolt flange surface, 3x stronger than conventional designs.

The system was developed alongside, and is the closest thing to, the exhausts that 5x World Champion Tim Gajser, Chase Sexton and Jett Lawrence have used to take holeshots and win championships. The resonator inside the RS-12 silencer has grown by 50cc, a 14% increase, and a second resonator has been added to the header. Together these changes unlock a large gain in usable power.

On the latest engine spec, which has a smaller throttle body and revised ECU settings, the RS-12 adds 5% maximum horsepower and 6.5% maximum torque.

What it means on the bike

Easier power delivery

Smoother frontside torque

You can ride a gear higher, which frees up the suspension

Less fatigue for the rider

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1049/4201/0632/files/yoshimura-rs-12-full-exhaust-system-s-steel-crf450r-21-24-225850s321.png?v=1790736581
https://apexpowersports.co.uk/products/yoshimura-rs-12-full-exhaust-system-s-steel-crf450r-21-24-225850s321
