Product details
AXP Xtrem skid plates are built to give your bike's vital components thorough, heavy-duty protection. They take a different approach from the standard MX/SX line: coverage runs from the frame down to below the footpegs and wraps fully around vulnerable parts like the water pump and connecting rod. Beneath the connecting rod the material is extra thick, up to 16mm, for durability in extreme riding conditions.
The plates use High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), which weighs 40% less than aluminium. HDPE soaks up impacts without deforming, cancels out vibration and avoids resonance, and it lasts well, so performance stays consistent over time even in the toughest environments.
Xtrem skid plates are made for a wide range of models, and some may be offered in more than one colour so you can personalise your bike.
