The FLY Racing Formula CP helmet carries ECE and DOT approval and is built around the Adaptive Impact System (AIS).
Key features
- Shell: polycarbonate alloy construction keeps the shell extremely light while giving excellent resistance to penetration.
- RHEON Impact Energy Cells: designed to absorb as much low-speed linear and rotational impact energy as possible, reducing the forces that reach the brain.
- Multi-density EPS (expanded polystyrene): gives a softer EPS, with critical zones fine-tuned to respond progressively to impacts at both low and high speed.
- Expanded volume EPS: key areas of the helmet carry extra impact-absorbing EPS, giving more cushioning between the ground and your head.
- EPS chin bar: adds a further element of impact mitigation.
- Clavicle relief zone: a soft, EPS-filled area in the shell to help reduce clavicle injuries.
- Custom moulded rubber trim with a built-in nose guard.
- Lightweight custom visor screws and stainless steel D-rings.
- Weight: 1450 grams, plus or minus 50g (size MD/LG).
- Liner: the Quick-Dry® comfort liner and the quick-release cheek pads are both made from a washable material that is moisture-wicking and anti-microbial.
- True Functional Ventilation (TFV): as you ride, air is driven in through multiple intake vents, travels along aligned channels in the EPS and leaves through multiple exhaust vents at the rear.
- Optional cold weather breath guard.
