Product details
Powersport manufacturers around the world have to meet noise suppression standards, and a spark plug on its own does not suppress enough noise, which is where resistor covers came in. NGK designs its Spark Plug Caps to cut electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference, both of which can upset electronic ignition parts and lead to misfires and poor engine performance.
The caps are built from very durable phenolic resin and EPDM rubber, with ceramic resistors for dependable, optimum performance. A resistor cover has to cope with extreme heat and vibration, stop flashover and stay waterproof.
