This waterproof Quad Lock® 12V to USB Smart Adaptor includes everything you need to supply power to your Quad Lock® Weatherproof Wireless Charging Head, whether it is fitted to a motorcycle, a boat or a caravan.

A toggle switch lets you choose between On, Off and Auto. Select On when the adaptor is connected to a constant 12V to 24V supply, such as on a boat or caravan. On a motorcycle, ATV or similar, use Auto: the adaptor stays off until the input voltage climbs above 13.5V and switches off again once it falls below 12.5V, so it only supplies power while the engine is running and your battery is not drained. With lithium batteries, using the On/Off switch is recommended to avoid battery drain.

Reverse polarity protection looks after your battery if the ring terminal cables end up on the wrong battery terminals, and a 3A fast blow fuse in the line guards against battery drain in the rare event of a fault.
