Product details

RFX Pro Series fork bleeders let trapped air out of original cartridge forks and modern dual-chamber forks. They are not suitable for air forks. Keeping the air pressure inside your forks where it should be helps them work smoothly, stops the front end feeling harsher than it should and lowers the chance of a seal failing.

Fitting

• Put the bike on a stand so the front wheel is off the ground.
• Before removing the original fork bleed screw, clean around it to keep dirt out.
• Take out the original bleed screw with a suitable screwdriver or Torx key.
• Check that the o ring sits over the threads of the new RFX Pro Series bleeder.
• Thread it in by hand until the o ring makes a seal on the fork cap.
• Check that the bleeder is clear of all mounts and the handlebars.
• Tighten it gently with a 10mm spanner, being careful with the aluminium threads so they do not strip.
• Important: never over tighten it.

How to use

• Put the bike on a stand with the front wheel raised.
• Clean the area around the bleeder.
• Press the bleeder to let the air out.
