Product details
The RFX Pro Series oil filter cover replaces your standard cover with one made from 7075-T6 aluminium, a grade chosen because it holds its dimensions better when the engine is running hot and under pressure. Its increased flow design also helps oil circulate more freely.

Fitting instructions
- Drain the engine oil following your owner's manual.
- Take off the old filter cover, being careful not to mark the sealing face on the crankcase.
- Take out the O-ring, clean it and fit it to the new cover.
- If you are changing the oil filter too, take it out along with any springs that hold it in place, and dispose of the old filter.
- Clean inside the filter housing and check it for damage. Metal filings there can point to extreme engine wear.
- Soak the new oil filter in fresh engine oil.
- Fit the new filter, the original spring and the new RFX cover.
- Refill with oil following your owner's manual.
