Product details

RFX Pro Series axle blocks make wheel changes quicker and easier, fitting simply and giving you more accurate wheel alignment. They are CNC machined from 7075 aerospace grade aluminium.

Fitting instructions

• Put the bike on a stand so the rear wheel is off the ground.
• Undo the rear axle nut and pull out the spindle.
• Lift the chain off the sprockets and take out the rear wheel.
• Take off the old axle blocks.
• Remove the bolts from the old axle blocks.
• KTM only: take the spindle out of the old axle block. This may need some heat and a vice, so take care not to damage the spindle.
• KTM only: fit the spindle into the new axle block, using red threadlock.
• Clean the swing arm area so it is free from dirt and debris.
• Place the new RFX axle blocks on the swing arm, checking that they are aligned and the bolts are in place.
• Clean the spindle and axle nut.
• Grease the spindle and wheel spacers with waterproof grease.
• Lift the wheel into place and put the chain back on.
• Push the spindle fully through and refit the axle nut, but do not tighten it fully yet.
• Use the axle blocks to square up the wheel, then adjust the chain to the correct tension (see your owner's manual for the figure).
• Tighten the axle nut to the torque given in your owner's manual.
