With twice the reed-tip surface area, the VF3 petals need to move only half as far as those in a standard cage to flow the same amount of air.
Less petal movement means greatly improved reed life, and you get instant throttle response. Where other valves change the character of the powerband while adding little or no horsepower, the VF3 adds horsepower throughout the powerband and widens peak power, so your bike is easier to ride.
