Product details
Maxima Waterproof Grease is an E.P. lithium complex grease for multi-purpose use. It is smooth and dark blue, with an NLGI #2 consistency. A high density polymer is blended in so it works well across most ambient temperatures, and it is rated for use from -29°C (-20°F) up to 293°C (560°F).
It has very good mechanical stability, so it will not thin out in normal use, and it resists water wash out extremely well. It clings to metal in harsh conditions while cutting friction. Non-leaded extreme pressure additives give it high load carrying ability and extra protection against shock loading, and rust and corrosion inhibitors add further protection when conditions turn bad. As a high temperature lithium complex grease, it can be used on bearings close to disc brakes and on boat trailer axles and hubs that see salt water.
