The Quad Lock 360 Flexible Adhesive Base lets you mount to flat or curved surfaces. Its four tabs bend to follow a curve, and strong 3M™ VHB adhesive holds it in place. A 10mm spacer and two screws (one M5x30 and one M5x45) are supplied so you can attach any Quad Lock 360 HEAD or ARM. It is not designed for severely curved surfaces, such as a 180 degree curve.

• Tough nylon construction
• Measures 60mm x 60mm and stands 18.3mm tall
• Tabs are 28mm wide, each with 2 grooves that act as bending points, so it can follow concave or convex surfaces
• 3M™ VHB adhesive for an extra strong hold
• Works with every Quad Lock 360 ARM and HEAD

Suitable surfaces

The adhesive bonds to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces, including:

• Uncoated glass, such as a windscreen
• Plastics including PC, ABS, PVC, nylon and acrylic, such as a car dashboard or console
• Metals
• Fibreglass
• Sealed wood

Recommended uses: car and 4x4 interiors, boats, caravans and anywhere with low vibration.

Not recommended

Avoid these surfaces: rubber, TPU and TPE; leather; silicone; soft touch coatings or paint; low surface energy plastics, for example polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acetal and HDPE; and unsealed wood.

Although it can be done, fitting this base to motorcycles, scooters or ATVs is not recommended, nor to anything that produces high vibration or sits constantly exposed to the outdoor elements.

Before you fit it

• Clean the surface thoroughly with an alcohol-based cleaner and make sure it is dry before you apply the base.
• The 3M™ VHB tape can only be used once and cannot be reused.
• Position the mount so it does not block airbags or any other vehicle safety features.
